They're designed for homeschool parents or educators who need to create, oversee, and track one or more student accounts from a single dashboard — the actual module access (Flashcards, Math Fluency, Typing Tutor, Bible Memory, Grammar) lives on the linked student accounts, not the teacher account.

Choosing Between Student and Teacher
The two categories serve entirely different purposes rather than different depths of the same thing. A Student plan gives one learner direct access to the six learning modules — Flashcards, Math Fluency, Typing Tutor, Bible Memory, and Grammar. A Teacher plan does not include these modules for the teacher's own use; it's a management system, giving a parent or educator the ability to create, oversee, and monitor separate student accounts from a single dashboard, including progress data, credits, and the option to reset progress on any module.
In practice, this means a homeschool parent with more than one child still needs a student account (covered by credits, or separately) for each child to actually use the learning modules — the Teacher plan itself is for oversight and management, not for the parent to complete lessons on. There is currently no dedicated family plan, so a Teacher plan combined with credit-covered student accounts is the recommended route for managing multiple children under one central dashboard.
A Note on Trials vs. Free Plans
It's worth being clear on the difference between the two "free" options available on both the Student and Teacher side, since they solve different problems:
- The Free plan never expires, but access is deliberately limited — enough to get a feel for how each module works.
- The Trial unlocks everything a paid plan includes, but only for 14 days, after which paid features pause until a plan is chosen. No card is required for either option, and no one is charged automatically when a trial ends.
