The New MemOrLearn Pricing Is Live and New Accounts Are Open
← Back to Blog

The update we've been talking about is now live. MemOrLearn's new Parent and Child account structure and pricing are in place, and we're accepting new accounts again.

If you've been waiting to sign up until the changes landed, you can now create a Parent account, add your children, and get started.

How It Works Now

Everything on MemOrLearn now starts with a Parent account. Once you've set that up, you choose a plan and enter your payment details once, and these apply across every Child account you create. You then add your children from within your Parent account and manage each of them from there, including updating profiles, pausing an account, pausing a plan, or deleting an account.

Child accounts can only be created from within a Parent account. Standalone Student accounts no longer exist.

3 or more children  40% off    £3.60    £32.40

Adding Several Children: How the Discount Applies

There's one detail worth understanding if you're setting up more than one Child account. Because children are added to your Parent account one at a time, the multi-child discount is worked out at the moment each child is added. This means the full discount only reaches every child from your first renewal onwards.

Here's how it plays out in practice.

If you add three children:

  • Child 1 is added when there are no other children on your account, so there's no multi-child discount. Their first payment is at the full base price.
  • Child 2 is added when you have two children, so their first payment is 25% off.
  • Child 3 is added when you have three children, so their first payment is 40% off.
  • At your first renewal, all three children move to the 40% discount.

If you add two children:

  • Child 1 pays the full base price for their first payment.
  • Child 2 pays 25% off for their first payment.
  • At your first renewal, both children move to the 25% discount.

To put numbers on it, here's what the first payments look like for a family with three children on the monthly plan:

Child     First payment      From first renewal

Child 1      £6.00            £3.60
Child 2      £4.50            £3.60
Child 3      £3.60            £3.60

On the yearly plan, the same pattern applies with first payments of £54.00, £40.50, and £32.40, settling at £32.40 each from your first renewal.

If you only have one child, there's no multi-child discount at any point, and the base price applies throughout.

For Existing Families

If you were already using MemOrLearn before the update, your account has been converted automatically. Your Teacher account is now a Parent account, your Student accounts are now Child accounts, and no progress has been lost. You'll need to confirm your payment details and choose a single plan to apply across your children, and the new pricing applies from your next renewal.

Ready to Start?

New families can sign up today. A free Parent account and a 14-day trial of the paid plans are both available, so you can explore how everything works before committing to anything.
